Tofu and basil butter 

Just as creamy as real butter. Tasty on a cracker in combination with black olives.

Snack / serves four to six / 15 minutes

Ingredients

1 block of tofu, 250 g – 2 Tbsp. olive oil – 1 small basil plant – 20 black olives, chopped finely – your favourite crackers

Preparation:

1. Wrap the tofu in a tea towel and place something heavy on top for 30 minutes.

2. Put the tofu, all the basil leaves including their stalks and the olive oil into a tall bowl or measuring jug and puree until smooth.

3. Spread the butter onto the crackers and garnish with black olives.
